Comin Back Baby!

Well guys it's almost summer time and as promised that means the good old Nuzlocke is comin back. However, somethings are gonna be changed up a bit. Some parts of the story are gonna be re-defined, and some details I wanted to add but couldn't will be, well added.

The style me and are going with is very heavily based off of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon story being told, though I'll be taking my own liberties and restrictions. We will be using a picture to show/create the scene, and then have writing to tell the story itself with dialogue description and so on. However we wotn be writing as much as many of her posts. We want the picture to tell as much of the story as the writing so even though it is one scene or shot, we want the writing that goes with it to make it feel like a full comic page addition, rather than a picture to a novel.

The styles are similar, and I wont lie, we are using very much the same idea as Purp, but that dosnt mean we wont do diferent things. The story told, the style of art used, and overall the feel of it, we hope, will be our own. Its alright to copy a style or even a plot so long as an execution is don differently to warrant its own name, and all we are doing is working with her style. BTW Check out prups stuff. There is a reason we are working off her ideas X3

Now one big thing we are gonna do with the first few updates is a summary of the story thus far. This way anyone who hasn't been reading those 7 page additions, and frankly don't want to, can be caught up for when the story gets back to where we left off. From then on, well be going back to more detailed, in the moment writing, but like i said before, we will be taking the style of purple keck, so the writing portion will be much filtered down, depending on what specific the content is.

Basically, no more seven pages, more like on picture and two -three pages of reading each submission. This makes the reading load smaller and the feeling of a comic sort of idea more prominent. Plus I can torture you guys with cliff hangers...hehehe.

Now the final thing I wanna talk about, which might not happen, is about Prints. Luna is being really kind/ cool about helping me with this and she has her own needs and future plans. So what I want to do, is allow the pictures to be the main file, meaning allow the picture to be bought and printed. I wont be keeping the money at all, rather anything the nuzlocke gets will be going to the artist so that the picture can be bigger and ideas larger.

Since the prints are fan made, and its very much like doing a self drawing and then selling personal art, it shouldn't be a big problem. Do not feel you have to  give us your money not at all. I am asking, if a certain picture speaks to you and you want to have a copy of your own, then feel free to pay for a fairly cheap picture. Not sure on the price yet but we will decide this a bit more after the summary section is done. This is all to benefit a great artists work and basicly giving some different form of support.

However the story itself is still free to read so no issues there. With all that said I believe I've said everything I need to for now.

As for when the first of the retelling pages will be up I can't quite say. Luna and I both have school yet to finish. However once all that is done, I can assure you weekly or bi weekly updates will be a constant thing.

Also as a quick plug for our artist, she will be starting her own comic to work on side by side the nuzlocke story. Of course I've already offered to help her out when she wants some dialogue or some scene creation, but the real support is gonna com from you guys checking out her pictures.
